Evoenergy are looking for a Plant Operator to join our team and ensure plant and equipment is appropriately operated and maintained.

Our trade staff enjoy a 9-day fortnight and receive competitive remuneration plus allowances and overtime. The incumbent will also be expected to participate in the on-call roster.

About the role

As a Plant Operators you would be responsible for ensuring that plant and equipment used for Evoenergy work is operated and maintained to required standards, efficiently and in accordance with work requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plant Operators are responsible for ensuring plant and equipment used for work is operated and maintained to required standards and requirements. This role is also responsible for ensuring plant and equipment is in good repair, that machines are appropriately allocated, and that users hold appropriate authorisations.
  • Ensure plant is adequately maintained and fit for use, including maintaining cleanliness
  • Apply understanding of plant and equipment specifications, including limits of use
  • Maintain relevant plant authorisations
  • Provide on-the-job training and general assistance to support trades/crews
  • Contribute to the development of work/safety instructions

About you

  • HR drivers Licence minimum
  • Front end loader (LB), Forklift, EWP & C2 crane licence/certification (or ability and willingness to obtain)
  • Demonstrated high level technical expertise in field
  • Knowledge and experience in plant and equipment maintenance
  • OH&S General Induction Card
