Senior Geotechnical Engineer

• FIFO or Residential - Expat / Overseas Assignment
• Underground Gold Mine

The assignment:
  
Our client is in the process of starting up a U/G gold mine in a very special and unique location. Development is well advanced with the mine getting ready to move into production over the coming months. There is a experienced management team on site who know what they are doing and the mine is attracting highly capable personnel.
  
We now need to add a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to the team. This is a site based position on a FIFO 8/6 roster or Residential 8/6 OR 5/2. The mine is very close to a vibrant local community that has schools and everything you need for a small family. We do think the location would suit those seeking an adventure for a few years.
  
Skill set required:

• Suitable qualifications related to geotechnical engineering
• At least 6 + years of site based experience working in U/G hard rock
• Experience with a range of software and systems
• Ability to lead a small team and influence a wide range of stakeholders
