About the role:

• Well regarded consultancy delivering the full suite of electrical, instrumentation and controls (EIC) engineering services for studies and projects to clients operating in the mining & resources, renewables and commercial industries.
• Senior Electrical Engineer with 8-10 years experience required.
• Focus on running jobs and their engineering design deliverables- approx $150 000 value
• Projects will focus on mining and minerals processing, sustaining capital and heavy industrial
• Focus on the production of electrical, instrumentation and controls (EIC) design deliverables, ensure client deadlines are achieved.
• Software utilised: DigSilent and inhouse software
• Assess design risks and their impact on schedules
• Manage projects within agreed budget and schedule
• Offer technical support to designers and coordinate with engineers from various disciplines
• Provide technical guidance to the delivery team
• Evaluate and manage team performance
• Report project status and prepare/review technical reports
• Work in a dedicated, motivated and experienced team - approx 15 staff.
• Perth Eastern Suburbs location, Free Carparking provided.

Key Criteria

• Electrical Engineering degree qualification. CPEng accreditation beneficial.
• Possess 8-10 + years Electrical Engineering experience which includes mining and minerals processing project experience.
• Thorough understanding of Australian Standards
• Experienced in design documentation, operation, construction/commissioning, and general engineering of mineral processing or chemical facilities
• Experience must cover study, front end engineering design (FEED), detailed design, and on-site construction
• DigSilient software experience beneficial
• Effective communication and liaison skills with other disciplines, project managers, and clients' representatives
• Able to run projects and taking ownership of their role
• Motivated & excellent team skills.
