The master plans for both Perth and Adelaide’s new airports have been ticked-off by the Federal Government.

The approval means that two states have 50 business days to release the plans for public viewing.

Both have already provided copies online, with Adelaide's accessible here, and Perth's here

Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Warren Truss said the approved Master Plans outline both cities “strategic direction” for the next 20 years.

The Adelaide outline allegedly includes plans to “better integrate” regional airline services into the main terminal and possibly construct a new general aviation terminal.

The Perth plan includes proposals for a third runway, a new terminal and improvements to its surface transport plan.
