About the role:
We have a permanent full-time position available based in Maroochydore. This is a perfect opportunity to open your career pathways and embrace a new challenge working with a skilled team for a leading Utilities company. Servicing the Sunshine Coast region, you will undertake maintenance and improvement works on Unitywater’s electrical, instrumentation and control assets. You will assist the Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders by proactively implementing processes, procedures and systems in the delivery of section initiatives and establishment of technical standards.
  
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

  • A strong commitment to personal and team safety.
  • A strong interest in achieving great outcomes for our customers and our team.
  • Certificate III Electrical Fitter and Mechanical.
  • Certificate III instrumentation/Control desirable or willingness to obtain.
  • Sound knowledge and experience working with AC & DC motor control systems.
  • Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent.
  • Apply well-developed knowledge of the Electrical Safety Act, Regulations and Standards.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems.
  • MR Class Driver License or willingness to obtain (we’ll support you to do this).
