About the Role
Requires a Process Engineer to manage the introduction of new product by establishing new manufacturing processes and monitor/maintain existing processes throughout product lifecycle. This includes participating in team-oriented design and development, working to technical specifications and managing tasks within an established time frame
Duties
- Identify and improve manufacturing efficiency and capacity by implementing sound manufacturing process improvement practices
- Provide Manufacturing process design and support
- Process monitoring and troubleshooting
- Support of new products going into production
- Generation and maintenance of CAD/CAM files required in the manufacturing process
- Testing and troubleshooting of new/existing designs
- Liaison with suppliers, manufacturing and other internal/external stakeholder
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience
- Demonstrated technical abilities applicable to Manufacturing Engineering;
- Sound understanding of manufacturing principles;
- Working knowledge of CNC programming;
- Familiarity with CAD packages (preferably Solidworks)
