HR Business Partner

Accountabilities

  • Recommending and implementing HR policies and practices in line with Ingham’s group strategies and objectives
  • Support and participate in local enterprise agreement negotiations and fostering productive union relationships
  • Coaching, supporting and influencing leaders to ensure the strategic pillars of the business are met, in turn achieving a highly engaged and talented workforce
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to implement HR initiatives that support a high performing culture
  • Drive organisational and change management activities whilst continuing to developing our desired culture and assist the leadership team drive engagement
  • Drive HR processes, such as remuneration, performance reviews, talent and succession.
  • Contributing positively to the team environment fostering open communication and actively seeking feedback. Participating in development opportunities, coaching conversations and taking responsibility for personal growth

Skills required

  • Have a high level of proficiency in advising on HR/IR/ER policy, best practice and legislation
  • Experience conducting complex investigations into employee relations matters from initial notification through to resolution
  • Demonstrated experience working in a unionised environment, assisting with negotiating Enterprise Agreements and reviewing industrial instruments
  • Previous experience with managing conflicting priorities and the ability to learn new tasks quickly
  • Strong communication, engaging and influencing skills with proven ability and passion to build relationships with remote stakeholders
  • Be an Intermediate excel user with the capability to look at large amounts of data and turn it into a useful snap shot of information

Qualifications/Licences

  • Tertiary studies in a HR or business related degree is essential
  • Hold a full driving licence, as the role will require travel to different sites across the state
