We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team in Sydney CBD on our Sewer Stormwater Separation project.  Working on a complex project that will be challenging but extremely rewarding and great to have on your CV.

As a Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for provide planning, technical advice and management of project activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the contract requirements and within the nominated constraints for time, cost, quality, safety and the environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Supervisor in the organisation of labour and equipment
• Procure materials and Services from Diona approved suppliers, or obtain approval for a new supplier
• Assist the Project Manager to review the daily site dairy
• Assist the Project Manager to ensure that the construction program is adhered to and updated weekly.
• Assist the Project Manager to liaise with the client’s representative to resolve technical, commercial and scheduling issues.
• Attend weekly site meetings with the Diona site team
• Ensure the Site Supervisors are managing and supervising subcontract works to ensure compliance with contract requirements and Diona's policies and procedures.

You will have:

• Degree qualified as a Civil Engineer or equivalent
• Experience delivering underground utilities and services projects (water, electricity, sewer, gas)
• 2+ years’ experience on projects were Sydney Water had been the end client (or similar client)
• 6-8+ years’ experience, with min 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Strong leadership ability
• A genuine commitment to strong WH&S culture and values.
• Experience with trenching and installation of stormwater pipeline.
