Purpose of Position

The Logistics Support Officer is responsible for providing NSW Ambulance paramedics with clean and fully stocked vehicles.

HealthShare NSW is currently recruiting for a number of roles which will support the NSW Ambulance service. The roles are up to a 10 month contract with potential for a 12 month extension. The role  requires a flexible  and capable person to work around a number of varied morning and afternoon shifts offering between 8 to 20 hours per week. The typical working hours will be from 5 am or 6pm for 4-5 hour shifts, week days and weekends. We are looking for capable people willing to take up the challenge, who are detail oriented and capable of working under pressure, keeping in mind the patient as a priority. While the role requires you to be able to follow strict infection control cleaning procedures, the role is much more than just cleaning services. You will need to have excellent attention to detail as you are expected to restock the ambulances to a very precise and accurate standard. The working environment is ever changing and it is essential for you to maintain flexibility and be able to reprioritise your tasks to meet the demands of the day.

This is a somewhat physical role and requires a moderate level of fitness. The role requires a full car license class C. If you are successful, Vaccination requirements will also need to be met prior to  commencement.
