About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Cashflow and Property, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage our 3rd party supplier tenders for property related matters i.e. Estate Agents, Valuers, Insurance Broker and Maintenance. You will ensure procurement of cost-competitive, fit-for-purpose goods and services related to personal and real estate property with an aim of zero negative impact on business as usual. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advise the business on how to manage, structure to achieve optimum contractual outcomes for the business
  • Assist with managing supplier contracts and oversee property related tenders and expenditure
  • Assist with the transition of old and new suppliers into our business
  • Assist in the running of property related projects which have already gained traction
  • Form relationships within the market to leverage greater efficiencies from suppliers
  • Liaise with the Manager, Contracts and Procurement to ensure State Trustees procurement policies are adhered and within organisational budget

Skills & Experience

  • Experience and proven expertise in procurement, including an in-depth knowledge of procurement enabling technologies
  • Experience in contract and vendor management, preparing and conducting tenders and selection processes, including the onboarding and offboarding of suppliers into the business
  • Experience in risk management, financial management and forecasting
  • Experience in property related projects
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
