Compliance Officer - External Works

  • Salary Range $63,560 - $74,065 + Super

We are looking for an experienced Compliance officer to join our dedicated Engineering and Public Space Unit who are responsible for the planning and delivery of a range of infrastructure including roads, parks, open spaces, bridges, drainage and urban developments.

As the Compliance Officer – External Works your key focus will be to ensure external contractors preserve and reinstate public infrastructure owned and managed by the City. You will be responsible for monitoring external contractor works to ensure they are compliant with approved permits, including periodic patrols of active development areas.

You will have a trade qualification and/or relevant experience in civil, building construction or compliance. The successful applicant will have working knowledge of civil infrastructure materials, tree protection measures, sediment and erosion control, and pedestrian management measures including the ability to interpret technical drawings.
