Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and talented HR Professional to join our HR division. Reporting into the Executive Director – Human Resources & Transformation , this Business Partner role will be responsible for providing assistance and expertise on HR matters for the Commercial division working across all category teams. As a key relationship manager, the role will develop a sound understanding of the Commercial team people needs, as well as working across the HR team to seamlessly drive and challenge Simplot people practices, policies, and systems through the development and execution of people strategies and plans.
The role will also inform, translate, drive and deliver essential people policies, processes and services including performance management, talent and succession planning, leadership capability as well as employee and industrial relations advice. This position will also be involved in systems transformation work.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience as a Senior HR Business Partner where your generalist experience has depth and breadth covering ER, IR, performance management, leadership development, OH&S, EEO, recruitment and selection, succession planning, remuneration, job analysis and engagement practices. Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline is a given, as is your ability to influence and engage leaders and employees at all levels of the organisation. Your interpersonal skills are naturally a strength that allow you to ensure effectiveness in a continuously changing environment. These skills combined with your sound planning and organisational skills allow you to effectively prioritise tasks resulting in your ability to work comfortably supporting multiple stakeholders.
