An opportunity has arisen for an experienced ICT Program Manager to join Queensland Rail’s ICT Delivery team commencing in April 2018 until the end of January 2019.

Managing a busy team of Project Managers in a dynamic and changing environment, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects with a focus on effective assurance and stakeholder management to achieve successful outcomes.

This will see you involved in all stages of the Project lifecycle including setting up new commercial arrangements, reviewing delivery approach for potential projects, liaising with internal stakeholders and third party suppliers to resolve issues, and ensuring application of best practice ICT project delivery techniques to optimise outcomes.

The key to your success will be very strong project assurance and vendor management skills, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and experience with the delivery of concurrent projects to successful commercial outcomes.

  • High level of skill in delivery of ICT programs and projects and, experience in assuring project delivery
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills - ability to lead others with good negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative and constructive relationships with internal and external providers in an ICT environment, providing leadership and direction
  • Experience with sourcing and vendor management in relation to ICT project delivery, including negotiating commercial arrangements, and managing contractual performance

Starting Salary $112,000 plus superannuation.
