We currently have an opportunity for the General Manager Rail Management Centre and Operations. This is a key senior leadership role which has responsibility for leading and providing strategic management of our Rail Management Centre, which exists to ensure the safe and efficient operational delivery of rail, customer services and crisis response.
Your team is accountable for deploying our rollingstock onto the network to ensure service levels and timetable obligations are delivered. You will be a key contributor to Queensland Rail operational planning while leading your group of circa 300 people.
Your demonstrable proven track record in Control Centre leadership and disruption management will be pivotal to your success in this role. You will have a strong commercial, customer and stakeholder mindset. A deep understanding of rail and/or transportation is attractive and you must be resilient, innovative and excellent in stakeholder management.
You will be required to achieve Queensland Rail performance measures, safety responsibilities and continually seek to improve business performance, leveraging your change management experience.
